One Dress Worn Two Ways

I love a good dress. You know, the kind that makes you feel confident and comfortable. What I love more than a dress is when I can wear said dress to the office and BAM debut it at dinner for date night out with a switch of accessories. I styled the office look with a denim jacket and ballet flats. If denim is a no-go in your office, opt for a cardigan or pullover sweater belted! Scroll through to see how I styled this chic red dress from office to date night.

To take this little red number from office to date night I made a simple swap with a few key accessories. Statement earrings make a HUGE difference in the overall look and feel of an outfit and while the material of the dress is formal enough to transition easily to an evening function, I decided to kick it up a notch with the earrings. I also swapped my nude ballet flats for a pair or nude heeled sandals. Both pieces are a staple every woman should have in their closet. If you don’t already have either in your closet, I’ve included links to a few options below. For the final swap, the bag. We all know how important our handbag choices are in both function AND fashion. I decided to go more is more with a bold red on red action and I’m pretty stoked about it.

I can also see this dress being worn to countless holiday parties to come and would love to hear your ideas on how you’d style it to the office!
