Winter Plaid Coat
It’s the second day of 2019 and while 2018 was a GOOD year, I can’t wait to see what 2019 has in store. Last year, I moved back to Los Angeles from Miami - pivoted back into working in the fashion industry - finally decided to follow my love for interior architecture with a program at UCLA - and turned the big 3-0. Basically, 2018 was a year of transition and saying yes to all things me!
But year after year one thing is unwavering - my obsession with a statement coat, and plaid just happens to be one of my favorite patterns for Fall & Winter! The colors in this particular coat are exceptionally festive for the season but unfortunately this Zara gem is a few years old (but obvs I refuse to give it up)! To compliment the coat, I threw on a cozy mock neck Madewell sweater similar to this one & an old lace trim black pant similar to these. For the finishing touch, I added a satin bow in my hair to keep the look playful and add a little OOMPH. I’m honestly so hesitant to experiment with hair accessories cause they can feel “young” very easily but I loved the added dose of rich color! I found these at Amazon but have seen so many beautiful hair ties & bows at J.crew, Madewell & Nordstrom.
2018 was the first year I took blogging more seriously and I’m aiming for a stronger 2019 for both my blog & instagram! If you have any ideas or requests for content you’d like to see, please feel free to share in the comments section below OR send me a DM on insta!
